Pasco Man Accused Of Making 4-Year-Old Sit On Toilet For 5 Hours

PORT RICHEY, FL —A 23-year-old Port Richey man is accused of forcing a 4-year-old boy to sit on the toilet for five hours and spanking him each hour for not using the potty.

Gregory Bush was arrested Wednesday and charged with child abuse. Deputies also arrested Bush's girlfriend, Tiffany Seaman, 31, for knowing about the abuse and allowing it to occur.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Bush said he was attempting to potty train the boy and would come into the bathroom every hour and spank him with a plastic spoon when he failed to use the toilet.

Deputies said the boy had serious bruising on his buttocks, hips and thighs as a result of the spankings.

Seaman said she did not notice the bruising on the child. She told deputies that she left the potty training up to Bush because she was too busy with work.
