Pasco Offers Sandbags for Residents
Locations will be open 24 hours a day throughout the weekend.

As heavy rains continue to beat down on the Tampa Bay area, Pasco County has announced it is making sandbags available to residents.
The county has opened three locations and the city of New Port Richey is sponsoring a fourth. Residents can pick up sandbags from:
- Fire Station No. 17, 2951 Seven Springs Blvd., New Port Richey
- West Pasco Government Center, 7536 State Street, New Port Richey
- J.W. Mitchell Park, 4025 Little Rd., New Port Richey
- 6420 Pine Hill Road, New Port Richey, across the street from the city’s Fleet Maintenance Building (Limit 10 bags per household)
“All sand bag locations will be open 24-hours a day throughout the weekend,” an email from the county to media stated. “Citizens must bring their own shovel and are limited to 20 sand bags per household and locations.”

Sandbag limits in the city of New Port Richey are set at 10.
A flood watch remains in effect for the Tampa Bay area until 8 p.m. Saturday.
