Pasco Residents Invited To Weigh In On Comprehensive Plan

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco 2050 is a multi-year initiative to update the county’s comprehensive plan that defines the county's vision for the next 25 years and outlines the steps needed to get there.

Residents are asked to take part in the process by visiting the Pasco2050 website where they can:

• Take part in surveys, polls and contests
• Register to receive updates on the process
• Stay informed about upcoming public meetings
• Provide input and feedback throughout the process

Pasco is one of the fastest-growing counties in the state of Florida, and county leaders are focusing on smart growth to balance open spaces with commercial and residential land use.

The Comprehensive Plan sets goals, objectives and policies that influence future planning decisions. Pasco 2050 will guide the way forward for economic development, transportation, parks, natural resources and how land is used.
