Seven Springs Elementary School’s PLACE program is also closed Tuesday as a precaution because of its proximity to the Anclote River.

β€œSSES PLACE students will be housed at Longleaf Elementary School tomorrow,” the county’s email stated. β€œParents will have to take their children to Longleaf and pick them up at the end of the day. Longleaf is located at 3253 Town Ave., New Port Richey.”

The district is also canceling all after-school activities throughout the county Monday afternoon and evening. The regular school board meeting, however, will still take place at 6 p.m.
