Pasco Sheriff Seeks Suspect In Attempted Murder

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a Port Richey man accused of attempted murder in a drug deal gone bad.

PORT RICHEY, FL – Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a Port Richey man accused of attempted murder in a drug deal gone bad.

According to sheriff’s reports, during a dispute over drugs at 7036 Ashwood Drive, Port Richey, on the night of Tuesday, Jan. 9, Luis Marino Nieuwkerk, 32, is accused of firing two rounds from a handgun at the unnamed victims and then fleeing the scene in a dark-colored sedan. The car was later found at 10706 Yorkshire Court, Port Richey.

No injuries were reported.

Nieuwkerk’s last known addresses are 10901 Norwood Ave., Port Richey, and 4346 Royal Oak Lane, New Port Richey.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Nieuwkerk should call 911 immediately. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
