Two family dogs were saved from a house fire in the Moon Lake area thanks to the actions of a Pasco County sheriff's deputy.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Two family dogs were saved from a house fire in the Moon Lake area thanks to the actions of a Pasco County sheriff's deputy.
On Saturday evening, the first deputy who arrived on the scene verified that all the residents of the house had escaped and were safe.
As he approached the house, he noticed there were two small dogs contained on the property near the burning house. He retrieved them and returned to them to their owners unharmed.
