Pasco Tax Collector Mike Fasano Announces Expansion of Services at West Pasco Government Center Office

Tax Collector Mike Fasano is pleased to announce that the tax office located in the West Pasco Government Center, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, will soon be a full service office, including providing assistance with drivers license needs. Currently, this is the only tax collectors office in the county that does not offer drivers license services.

To prepare for the new services the West Pasco Government Center location will temporarily be closed for business starting February 23. The office will reopen on March 16. During this period equipment will be installed and other upgrades will take place so that customers will be able to visit this office for all their drivers license needs. Customers who normally would visit this office are encouraged to seek service at the Gulf Harbors branch, which is located at 4720 U.S. Highway 19, New Port Richey during this temporary closure.

“We are excited that our West Pasco Government Center location will soon be able to provide drivers license services for our customers,” Tax Collector Mike Fasano states. “No longer will they have to stop in the government center to pay their auto registration and property taxes and then travel to Gulf Harbors for drivers license renewals and related services. Customers who visit the West Pasco Government Center will be able to take care of their needs in one stop.”

In addition to Gulf Harbors, the tax collector offices in Land O’ Lakes, Dade City and Wesley Chapel will continue to be open for business.
