Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano announces the retirement of longtime employee Mary Erwin.

Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano announces the retirement of longtime employee Mary Erwin. Mary has been with the Tax Collector’s Office for 30 years. She ended her career as the Assistant Office Manager of the Tax Collector’s office located in the West Pasco Government Center. Mary is a well-liked and respected member of the leadership team.

“Mary’s knowledge of her job was outstanding with 30 years of service to our organization,” states West Pasco Government Center Manager Clare Casey. “She earned the respect from her colleagues as well as the public that she served. She will be missed and we all wish her the best in her retirement.”

“First and foremost, Mary’s smile and great sense of humor will be missed,” states Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “She always made coming into the office a pleasure. Additionally, her thirty years of knowledge regarding how a tax office is run will be greatly missed. However, she has definitely earned the many years of retirement that await her. I wish her the very best as she begins this new and exciting part of her life.”

During a farewell ceremony Mary was presented with a plaque commemorating her career with the tax collector. The plaque states: “In appreciation and recognition of your courteous, professional, and dedicated service to the Citizens of Pasco County 1984 – 2014.”
