Pasco Tax Collector Mike Fasano Recognizes the Retirement of Customer Service Supervisor Barbara Messer

Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano announces the retirement of longtime Customer Service Supervisor Barbara Messer.  Barbara, who works out of the Dade City office, has been with the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office for 32 years.  Her retirement ends a distinguished career of ensuring that every customer who entered the tax collector’s office was treated with dignity and respect, the top goals of Tax Collector Mike Fasano.

“Barbara is one of those rare people who can connect with others immediately,” Tax Collector Mike Fasano comments.  “Her smile and great attitude have gone a long way towards making sure the customers of Dade City and surrounding communities received the best service possible.  As a beloved member of the Dade City staff she will be missed.”

During a farewell ceremony this week Barbara was presented with a plaque commemorating her career for the tax collector.  The plaque states: “in appreciation and recognition of your courteous, professional and dedicated service to the Citizens of Pasco County 1981-2013.”
