Pasco Tax Collector’s Office in Gulf Harbors to Begin Offering Fingerprinting Services

Starting on August 9 the Gulf Harbors branch of the Pasco Tax Collector's Office will begin offering fingerprinting services to the public

Starting on August 9 the Gulf Harbors branch of the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office will begin offering fingerprinting services to the general public. The new service will help individuals who may need fingerprints for professional certification, employment requirements, background checks for volunteer work, records of personal identification or any other reason to have their fingerprints taken quickly and efficiently.

Fingerprinting services will be provided in the Gulf Harbors branch office, which is located at 4720 U.S. Highway 19, New Port Richey 34652. The services will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This service is not available on Saturdays at this time. Appointments for fingerprinting services are not required. Customers will be served on a first-come first-served basis.

“The addition of fingerprinting services will bring the tax collector’s office closer to being a one-stop–shop for our customer’s needs,” comments Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “We strive to make customer service our number one priority. By adding fingerprinting to our list of services available to the public, we hope to make life easier for people with already busy lives. If we can help our customers save a little time then we will have accomplished something good for them.”

The cost for fingerprinting is very reasonable when compared to for-profit providers. If an individual would like their prints taken and transmitted to a third-party (i.e. for employment background checks or other professional requirements) the cost will be $12 per set of prints. If an individual would like their prints transmitted and would like to retain a hard copy of their prints the cost will be $17 per set.
