Pasco Tax Collector Welcomes Hartz Hartzell Back From Active Duty

Hartz Hartzell, an employee of the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office since 2011, returned to work at the Gulf Harbors tax collector’s office this day.  Hartzell, a member of Army Reserve Unit, 320 Military Police Company, just completed his third tour of combat duty.  Hartzell is a 17 year member of the United States Army.

Hartzell is a beloved member of the Gulf Harbors staff.  Due to the support this office has historically given to military reservists, Hartzell nominated the office for an award through the U.S. Department of Defense’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve office.  Hartzell played a key role in the tax collector’s office receiving the award.

“Today we welcomed back a hero,” states Tax Collector Mike Fasano, following a staff greeting held at the Gulf Harbors office.  “We are proud to welcome back this fine individual and dedicated American patriot. We are proud that Hartz has chosen to serve his country through his military service.  We are even more proud that he is part of our team here at the tax collector’s office.”
