“Scott’s co-captain and is a good leader for (Ridgewood),” said Head Coach Mike Bua.

Coach Bua says, “Kujak is strong with the ball and usually makes good decisions.” He averages the most points, assists, and steals in a game, as well. Defensively, he guards the other team's best player and is a great rebounder, Bua said.

“(Kujak) practices hard and has been on the varsity for three seasons, which allows him to really help out our younger players,” Bua said.

Kujak is also Ridgewood High School’s 2011 valedictorian. He has a 4.57 GPA and “can go to pretty much any college he would like,” Bua said.

When Kujak was asked about his main goal for the season, he said, “Obviously, win districts again. It’s been four straight years [that Ridgewood’s] won districts, so we’re trying to just win for right now.”

“[Kujak] is a big part of what [Ridgewood] does,” said Bua. “He is a great kid and a great role model.”
