Pedestrian Killed By Car While Walking In Pasco County

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A woman is dead after authorities said she was hit by a car while walking in Pasco County early Friday morning.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol accident report, a white Dodge Dakota was traveling east on Bolton Avenue west of Bermondsey Street when the driver hit a 31-year-old Hudson woman walking the same direction on Bolton Avenue.

According to police, the woman was in a travel lane and walking in the truck's path when she was hit.

The driver left the scene following the crash, police said. The truck was later found abandoned. Currently, state police are unsure of the driver's identity, authorities said.
