Pedestrian Walking On Pasco Highway Hit, Killed By Car
A 24-year-old Land O' Lakes man was walking on SR-54 Friday night when he was hit, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 24-year-old Land O' Lakes man died Friday night when he was hit by a car while walking on a Pasco County highway.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was walking westbound in the eastbound lane of SR-54 when he was hit by a Jeep Wrangler driven by a 62-year-old woman from Zephyr Hills. Police said the crash happened just west of Ryals Road.
According to police, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
