The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the person found dead in the Anclote River Wednesday evening.
According to the sheriff’s office, Chase Konger-Weddle, 17, was found by a resident in the 7400 block of Riverbank Drive around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. The teen was last seen at his Riverbank Drive home around 5 a.m. Tuesday. His mother reported him missing Tuesday evening, the sheriff’s office said.
While a cause of death is pending autopsy findings, the sheriff’s office says the death does not appear to be flood-related.
