Photos: Pasco Flooding Concerns Continue
A section of Elfers was evacuated Sunday after days of heavy rain.
As heavy rain continues to pound Florida’s west coast, residents in the Elfers area have been hit especially hard.
Pasco County officials ordered an evacuation Sunday as the Anclote River threatened to overflow its banks. That order remained in place Monday morning as did a flood watch issued by the National Weather Service. Forecasters anticipate rain to continue throughout much of the week.

- Northern boundary – State Road 54
- Southern boundary – Ella Lane
- Eastern boundary – Dellefiled Street and Riverbank Drive
- Western boundary – Glenside Drive
The Anclote River was at 23.47 Sunday afternoon. The river’s “major flood stage” is 24 feet.
