Pickup Truck Crashes Into Port Richey Home; Resident injured

A resident escaped with only minor injuries when a 30-year-old Port Richey woman driving a pickup truck crashed into her home.

PORT RICHEY, FL — A resident escaped with only minor injuries when a 30-year-old Port Richey woman driving a GMC pickup truck crashed into the front of a home at 7331 Oak Crest Drive.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver placed the truck in gear and then lost control of it. The truck traveled south across the street and collided with the front of the home with two residents inside.

A 65-year-old woman in the home suffered minor injuries. A 58-year-old man inside was uninjured.
