You’re Invited to
Poetry Night at the Downtown New Port Richey
Art Gallery
Are you a poet and/or a poetry lover? Do you enjoy theatrical performances? Then Poetry Night at the New Port Richey Art Gallery is an event just for you.
Join us on Friday,
Jan. 31 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Downtown New
Port Richey
Art Gallery
for open microphone poetry readings, and a delightful two-person, one-act play
performance by the Old Time Radio Group, who will enact local author and
playwright Ralph Annan’s play “Always and Forever.” When a wealthy socialite leaves a party on
New Year’s Eve, her dead husband suddenly materializes out of nowhere, bent on
repairing their broken marriage. It’s a humorous look at marriage, with a touch
of nostalgia.

After the play, poetry will be read. Since the Gallery’s art exhibition theme in
January is about peacefulness, tranquility, serenity and solitude, it is
suggested that poetry content complement the theme.
This is a free event. RSVP to reserve a seat by calling the
Gallery at 727-848-6500 (Wed. through Saturday, 12 noon to 6 pm).
