Police Search For Shooter In Suspected Road Rage Incident
New Port Richey Police are continuing to search for a vehicle involved in a possible road rage incident Sunday morning.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — New Port Richey Police are continuing to search for a vehicle involved in a possible road rage incident Sunday morning.
According to police, around 9:15 a.m. Dec. 15, officers received a report of motorcyclists driving recklessly on southbound U.S. 19 near Cross Bayou Boulevard. Shortly after, they responded to a report of a man who'd been shot near that intersection.
The man was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point where he was treated for the gunshot wound to the abdomen and is expected to survive.

Police are continuing to search for the shooter who they say did not know the person who was shot and believe the shooting to be the result of road rage. Police are working to determine who opened fire and what led up to the incident.
