Port Richey Issues 2nd Boil Water Notice in 2 Days
A water main break along U.S. 19 has led to a boil water notice for residents and businesses in the area of the Gulf View Square Mall.

PORT RICHEY, FL — A water main break in the area of Gulf View Square Mall has prompted the city of Port Richey to ask residents and businesses in the area to boil their water for a time.
The city announced the precautionary boil water notice Wednesday morning. The affected area includes the mall and the portion of the city north of the mall, the city wrote in an email to media.
“As a precaution, it is our recommendation that you boil all consumable water for the next three days. A rolling boil for one minute is suggested,” the email said. “The water will need to pass bacteriological testing before the boil notice is rescinded.”
