Port Richey Issues Boil Water Notice
Residents who live on seven specific streets are being asked to take precautions after a water main broke Wednesday.

Port Richey, FL — Residents who live in Port Richey’s Westport neighborhood are being asked to boil their water after a main broke in the area Wednesday.
The break may have caused contamination in the water, which is why the city is advising residents to boil any water used for consumption. The recommendation is to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
The boil water notice will stand in place until a bacteriological test is performed and passed. Anyone with questions may call the utilities department at 727-816-1900, Ext. 2.
