Port Richey Man Charged With Assaulting Neighbor

The victim said his neighbor pulled out two semi-automatic pistols and struck him with the pistols.

PORT RICHEY, FL -- A Port Richey man is facing aggravated battery with a weapon and aggravated assault charges after being accused of pistol whipping and threatening to shoot his neighbor.

Johnathan Christopher Pippin, 38, of 6607 Cathy Drive, Port Richey, reportedly got into an argument with his neighbor at 6603 Cathy Drive on Dec. 8. The victim said he was approached outside his home by Pippin and the two got into a verbal argument. The victim said Pippin then pulled out two semi-automatic pistols and struck the victim with the pistols. According to the victim's testimony, Pippin pointed one of the guns at the victim and pulled the trigger but the gun did not fire. The victim fled into his house to escape Pippin. Sheriff’s deputies said he received injuries to his face and the back of the head.

After an investigation, Pasco Sheriff’s deputies arrested Pippin Tuesday, Dec. 19.
