Presentation of “Chimpanzee” by Disneynature

The North Pinellas Regional Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary’s presentation of “Chimpanzee”, a G rated Disneynature film, which will be shown at 2:00 PM on June 13, 2014at the Palm Harbor Library. The public is invited to attend. “The chimps have been living at the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary since 1952, so I thought that it was time to share some facts about these neighbors”, says Debbie Cobb, Executive Director of the SPS. Viewers will Journey deep into the African rain forest where they will meet Oscar, a three-month-old chimp who is orphaned and later adopted by the Alpha Male of his group. This inspiring and life-changing adventure is a documentary that will capture your heart as the chimps overflow with courage and charm. The event is free; however everyone who makes a donation will receive a free ticket to the Sanctuary, a $10 value.
