Prostitution Sting Nets 8 Arrests
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office and New Port Richey Police Department teamed up for the Oct. 6 crackdown.

Prostitutes that use U.S. 19 to solicit business were in for a bit of a shock yesterday afternoon as law enforcement officials conducted a sting that eventually resulted in the arrest of eight women.
Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said the sting, which took place in the New Port Richey area, was conducted as a result of resident complaints.
“(We’ve had) numerous complaints about prostitution,” Nocco said. “This is a quality of life issue for our citizens.”
