Ridgewood High Prepares Students for a Successful School Year

Ridgewood High School is holding AP Bootcamp in New Port Richey for all Advanced Placement students in preparation for 2016-2017.

Ridgewood High School is holding AP Bootcamp for all Advanced Placement students on August 2, and 9th Grade Ram University on August 4, to prepare students for a successful school year.

The AP Bootcamp begins at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, and will use a team-building approach to critical academic skills to be successful in college level classes and life. Students will be divided into platoons led by RHS graduates and take on tasks focused on teamwork, communication, organization, critical thinking and problem solving. Students learn self-confidence and build a network of peers that will help them in the future. The past graduates also will share their college experiences, which will expose current students to additional opportunities and energize them for pursuing higher education.

The day will culminate in a pep rally.
