All this HOT, humid weather has the bugs on the run. We have seen so many people that are fed up and freaked out by all the pests that have been invading their homes lately! Now we should expect this, here in our sub-tropical climate, but this year is proving to be a banner year for insect infestations.
The first thing you need to understand, is that, with any pest, the most important first step is PROPER IDENTIFICATION. We always ask people to bring us a sample of their bug so we know that we know, that they are leaving with the proper products for the bug(s) they are going after. It really matters, especially in the case of ants, which will ALWAYS start with a BAIT and NOT any type of spray, dust or insecticide!!
Once the insect has been identified, the product of choice has to be used properly. It's not good enough to have the right product and then not use correctly or not follow up on maintenance once the initial problem is under control. Unless, of course, you want to become re-infested.
For example, with German Roaches and Fleas, if you don't use something for the adults, and more importantly, a product to sterilize them, you are only putting a bandaid on something that needs surgery...In many cases, the use of BAITS is also necessary to get the job done. Understanding the biology and life cycle of these critters is key. Using specific products in specific areas, combating the most vulnerable stage of their life cycle is key and most homeowners are not educated in such critical information so they end up using the wrong products in the wrong places and NOT GETTING results.
That's where we come in. My husband, Peter and myself, have been in the bug business for over 30 years, and even that is not enough to keep all the bugs at bay! Florida is a transient state, and we are constantly seeing "new" bugs arriving on the scene or "old" bugs that used to be under control come back again....with a vengeance (bed bugs, for example). We have to stay on top of our game, so you don't have to.
If you are having problems in your home, your yard or on your pets, we can help! Bring us a bug, a patch of grass or leaves off your plants. We will identify the problem, prescribe the solution AND give you the in-detail-instructions on how to SAFELY and effectively have a bug-free home once again.
Ask us how, then.....Do It Yourself! We're located at 2636 US Highway 19 in Holiday (SE Corner of US 19 and Sunray Drive)
Have a SAFE spray!
