Rupert's First Clean Up Event of 2014

Welcome to 2014 – another year in which we can all help to Mother Earth!  For more than three years, our Friends of Rupert clean up crew has been cleaning up the 2.3-mile stretch of Rowan Road between Massachusetts Avenue and Trouble Creek Road in New Port Richey. We invite you to join us!

Please meet at the Walgreen's at 7020 Massachusetts Ave, New Port Richey.  Please be on time, as we have a safety briefing to give before we can start clean up efforts.  Dress appropriately for this activity which will include stooping and/or kneeling to pick up debris from the ground. Sunscreen and/or a hat are recommended.

Free pizza and soda will be provided for those who participate.  Bottled water, trash bags, gloves, and safety signs are to be provided by the County.

***PLEASE NOTE:  Even if you are physically unable to collect the trash yourself, we can still use your help AND your happy face (presence) at our events.  And remember - we are always happy to provide certificates for Community Service hours for those who volunteer.
