Baton Rouge Shooting: Tampa Bay Reacts
Local law enforcement agencies are showing their support in the wake of a shooting that's left three officers in Baton Rouge, La., dead.

Tampa Bay, FL — For the second time in recent weeks, Tampa Bay area law enforcement agencies are taking to their social media accounts to show their support in the wake of an ambush on fellow officers.
On Sunday, three police officers in Baton Rouge, La., were gunned down. Several others were reportedly wounded.

The shooting comes following the July 7 attack in Dallas that left five officers dead and seven wounded during a protest against police brutality. It also follows the high-profile shooting deaths of two black motorists. Alton Sterling, 37, was shot and killed by police in Baton Rouge. Sterling’s death came a day before another police-involved shooting death in Minnesota. In that case, Philando Castile, 32, was shot and killed during a traffic stop.
