Salvation Army Opens 2 Pasco Feeding Operations
Residents are still reeling from recent flooding.

Pasco County residents displaced from their homes courtesy of the recent floods will find help is on the way.
The Salvation Army has announced the opening of two neighborhood feeding operations on the county’s west side as of Friday.
The first location is in Elfers at the southwest corner of Celtic Drive and State Road 54. This location has portable toilets and eight portable showers with hot running water. The Salvation Army will also provide hot meals for residents of the neighborhood at this location.

The location will serve residents from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and again from 4 to 6 p.m.
The second neighborhood receiving services is Bass Lake. This location will offer hot meals and bottled water from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. at the intersection of Bass Lake Drive and Wicker Lane.

On Thursday, Gov. Rick Scott declared a state of emergency in Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.
