Spring Hill Woman Accused Of Beating Up 11-Year-Old

BROOKSVILLE, FL — Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said a Spring Hill woman beat up an 11-year-old girl so severely the girl had to go to the hospital emergency room.

Tiffany Bland, 32, was arrested after being accused of striking the girl on her face, collar bone, right ear, back of the neck and right shoulder, causing bruising. The girl was taken to the hospital when she began having chest pains after being kneed by Bland, said deputies.

Bland was charged with child abuse. The sheriff's office didn't provide a reason for the beating.
