'Take Me Home'
A small quilt exhibit and silent auction by members of the West Pasco Quilters' Guild.
You can bid up until the closing: Friday, August 30th at 8pm.
Bids are starting at a very reasonable amount!
The quilts for auction have been donated by members of the
WPQG and 100% of the monies raised by the sale of these quilts will directly
benefit the Art Gallery.
Why do we make quilts? Most of us make them because we enjoy
the process or the journey. We have a vision in our minds and we use fibers to
give our vision life.
Quilting is an ART.
The Gallery celebrates all types of art in our community.
Every medium that can be molded into the images of our mind can be displayed
here. The Gallery encourages young artists through the school programs and
classes they offer to the community.
The quilters of the West Pasco Quilters’ Guild, Inc. wish to assist the Gallery
in their continuation of providing a quality venue for our local artists to
share their talents and exhibit their works.
Quilts
are not just for your bed anymore.
We use to think that
quilts were just for beds and to keep warm, well these are not your grandma's
quilts...Come and enjoy this wonderful collection of small art quilts designed
and created by members of the West Pasco Quilters' Guild. Members range in age
from 6 to 90 and include men and women.
