Tampa Motorcyclist Hit, Killed By Semi In Pasco County: Police
The crash happened Wednesday morning when a tractor-trailer made a left turn into the motorcycle's path, police said.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A Tampa man died Wednesday morning when the motorcycle he was riding struck a tractor-trailer on a Pasco County road, authorities said.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 31-year-old man was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle east on Chancey Road shortly before 7:30 a.m. when the collision happened.
As the motorcycle driver approached the intersection at Morris Bridge Road, authorities said a Freightliner tractor-trailer traveling west on Chancey Road made a left turn into the motorcycle's path. The motorcycle then collided with the tractor-trailer, police said.

The motorcycle driver, whose name was not released, died at the scene of the crash.
The semi driver — identified as a 43-year-old Land O' Lakes man — was uninjured, according to police.
