Tampa Woman Dies In Crash On SR 52

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 40-year-old Tampa woman has died following an early-morning crash Tuesday on State Road 52.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 1:03 a.m., Jasmin Sioudi was driving a Chevrolet Impala east on S.R. 52 approaching Davis Lane when she entered the westbound lanes into the path of a Toyota Tundra driven by Ariana Graciella Ortiz, 19, of Spring Hill, hitting the pickup truck nearly head on.

Sioudi died at the scene. Ortiz was treated for minor injuries.
