Tax Collector Mike Fasano Announces Charitable Fundraising Totals for 2015
During 2015 a total of $100,379.47 was raised on behalf of charitable organizations that benefit the residents of Pasco County

Raising funds for charitable organizations that assist residents of Pasco County has long been a priority of Tax Collector Mike Fasano. During 2015 a total of $100,379.47 was raised on behalf of these non-profit organizations:
Salvation Army’s Domestic Violence Program $1,650.00
American Heart Association’s Wear Red for Women Day $ 791.00

In addition to donations given a valuation, the tax collector’s office has assisted in the recruitment of mentors for Big Brothers Big Sisters, collecting gifts for the Marine Corps League’s Toys for Tots program and gifts for Home Instead’s Be a Santa to a Senior program.
“It is my belief that a public servant has a responsibility to do whatever he or she can to assist those less fortunate,” states Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “It is a blessing that we have so many generous people in our community and on our staff that have given of their time and treasure to support so many fine non-profit organizations. The variety of services is great as are the number of people who benefit.”
Since Mike Fasano became tax collector in 2013 the Pasco County Tax collector’s Office has raised a total of $158,336.99 for these and other important organizations including Support Our Troops, Sertoma Speech and Hearing Foundation, Lifelink (Donate Life) Foundation, AAA Traffic Safety Foundation and many others.
