Tax Collector Mike Fasano Has Designated July as Alzheimer's Family Organization Charitable Giving Month
During July the Alzheimer's Family Organization will be the featured charitable giving organization at the Pasco Tax Collector's Office

During the month of July the Alzheimer’s Family Organization will be the featured charitable giving organization at the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office. The Alzheimer’s Family Organization provides educational programs, support services and assistance to caregivers, families and individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Dollars raised through this charitable giving promotion will provide needed funds to support existing services and expand the reach of the Alzheimer’s Family Organization so it can serve more individuals.
“Alzheimer’s Family Organization is a local non-profit whose funding comes from the local community through memberships, donations and fundraising events,” states Mellaney Lesniewski, Community Program Manager for Alzheimer’s Family Organization.
The promotion will afford customers who either visit or mail-in payments to the tax collector’s office the opportunity to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Family Organization. Every dollar donated through this promotion will go directly to the charity for use here in our local community. The Alzheimer’s Family Organization provides a host of services including respite care financial assistance, wanderer’s identification, support groups and a telephone help line.

“The Alzheimer’s Family Organization is a well-respected organization that has provided needed services to our community for many years,” states Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “Dementia comes in many forms and unfortunately far too many people suffer from this debilitating disease. The stress on not only the patients but the family and other caregivers can be great. The Alzheimer’s Family Organization provides an impressive array of services and supports to those most in need. I encourage our customers to stop by one of our five tax offices and make a donation to help the Alzheimer’s Family Organization serve as many people as possible in Pasco County.”
