Tom Brady Fan Celebrates 100th Birthday With Pasco Commission

Avid New England Patriots fan Alice Proctor is celebrating her 100th birthday just as quarterback Tom Brady debates retiring.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A diehard sports fan for decades, avidly following the New England Patriots since 1963, Pasco County resident Alice Proctor was ecstatic when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced two years ago that longtime Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was coming to Tampa.

Now, as the 44-year-old football players considers retirement, Proctor celebrated her 100th birthday with Pasco County commissioners last week, receiving a certificate of recognition at the regular commission meeting.

Born Dec. 24, 1921, Proctor is the grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of 12. She enjoys volunteering, playing bridge with friends on Friday nights and socializing.
