Trinity Woman Accused Of Trying To Stab Man With Kitchen Knife
A 46-year-old Trinity woman has been charged with attempted murder and tampering with a witness.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A 46-year-old Trinity woman has been charged with attempted murder and tampering with a witness after being accused of attacking a man with a knife and then trying to force him to delete a video of the attack.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, on Monday Melissa Ann Henson drove to a man's home in New Port Richey after learning about an argument over a text message between the man and Henson's sister. Deputies said she entered the man's bedroom where she attacked him with a large kitchen knife.
Deputies said the man recorded the attack on his cellphone. Henson can be seen trying to stab the man. The man was holding the victim's wrist to prevent the stabbing. He finally managed t0 punch Henson in the face, causing her to drop the knife.

Afterward, deputies said she can be heard on the video demanding that the man delete it.
Henson was taken to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center where she was held without bond.
