Video: Lightning Strikes Pasco Home, SUV Crashes Into Another
Pasco Fire Rescue workers were called to an accident involving an SUV that crashed into a home and a home that was struck by lightning.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Pasco County firefighters had their hands full Thursday after an SUV crashed into a home in the morning and lightning struck a home in the afternoon.
Pasco Fire Rescue was called to the 7700 block of Jasmine Boulevard after an SUV crashed into a home, causing significant damage. Fortunately, no one was injured.
After stabilizing the home, a building inspector was summoned to see if the house is still habitable.

Then, around 2 p.m., firefighters responded to a home in the 1600 block of African Violet Court in Trinity to find smoke and flames shooting from the roof of the home following a lightning strike. Once again, there were no injuries.
