Watch: 13 People Rescued When Boat Overturns Near Anclote Key
A pontoon boat took on water and overturned in the waters near Anclote Key Sunday, sending all 13 occupants into the water.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- A 20-foot fiberglass pontoon boat took on water and overturned in the waters near Anclote Key Sunday, sending all 13 occupants into the water, according to Pasco Fire Rescue.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit, Florida Wildlife Conservation and other agencies responded to the watercraft emergency. Two people were hospitalized following the water rescue.
