What's Open, Closed In Pasco County On Labor Day 2021

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco Board of County Commissioners offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, in observance of Labor Day. Government offices will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 7.

The Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources’ Offices, recreation complexes and community centers will be closed Monday, Sept. 6; however, the parks and beaches will stay open to the public from dawn to dusk.

Pasco County Public Transportation (GoPasco) will be closed, and bus and paratransit services will not run Monday, Sept. 6.

All Pasco County libraries will be closed Monday, Sept, 6.

The Pasco County Animal Services Administration Office, Adoption Center, Intake/Reclaim Shelter and Field Services will be closed Monday. An animal control officer will be available for emergencies only.

The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III and the East Pasco Transfer Station will be closed to the public Monday; however, they will be open to Pasco County licensed commercial haulers.

The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County will be closed on Monday and will resume at the regularly scheduled times on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

Although DOH-Pasco programs and services will be closed, Nomi Health will continue to provide drive-thru COVID-19 testing at the Gulf View Square Mall on Labor Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.

The five Pasco County Tax Collector offices will be closed on Monday in honor of Labor Day. All offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday for normal business.

All city offices and the library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6, in observance of Labor Day.
