What's Open, Closed In Pasco County Thanksgiving 2021

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco Board of County Commissioners offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26, in observance of Thanksgiving.

Government offices will reopen Monday, Nov. 29.

The Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources’ offices, recreation complexes and community centers will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26, 2021; however, the parks and beaches will stay open to the public from dawn to dusk.

GoPasco County Public Transportation will be closed, and bus services will not run Thursday, Nov. 25. GoPasco will be open Friday, Nov. 26, and will provide service on all fixed routes and paratransit. GoPasco administrative offices will be closed to walk-in customers Friday, Nov. 26; however, phone lines will be open.

All Pasco County libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday. Libraries will resume regular business hours Saturday, Nov. 27.

The Pasco County Animal Services Administration Office, adoption center, intake/reclaim shelter and feld services will be closed Thursday and Friday. An animal control officer will be available for emergencies only. The adoption center and intake/reclaim will resume regular business hours Saturday, Nov. 27.

The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III and the East Pasco Transfer Station will be closed to the public and Pasco County-licensed commercial haulers Thursday. They will also be closed to the public Friday; however, they will be open to Pasco County-licensed commercial haulers. Regular business hours will resume Saturday.

The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.

The five Pasco County Tax Collector offices will be closing early on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 3 p.m. and will remain closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 29.
