Woman Accused Of DUI, Trying To Steal Lawn Ornaments In Hudson

HUDSON, FL -- A 63-year-old Springfield, Massachusetts, woman was charged with driving under the influence after a neighbor on Autumnwood Drive in Hudson spotted her stealing lawn ornaments from someone's front yard.

Deputies responding to the call from the neighbor said, when they approached Sonia Rosario , she unloaded the lawn ornaments from her car and tried to flee the scene. When deputies stopped her from leaving, they noticed she was exhibiting signs of being impaired and had a strong odor of alcohol. They also found 15 empty Natural Lite beer cans in her car and another half empty can of beer in the console of the car.
