Woman Dies After Collision With Tesla In Pasco County: FHP

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A woman is dead following a two-car collision in Pasco County on Friday night, authorities said.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Buick Reatta driven by a 75-year-old New Port Richey man was traveling south on Little Road near Heritage Lakes Boulevard around 9:20 p.m. when it turned left into the path of a Tesla Model 3 driven by a 45-year-old Osprey man.

The drivers of both cars suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said. A passenger in the Buick — identified as a 73-year-old New Port Richey woman — was taken to an area hospital where she later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
