YMCA, Feeding Tampa Bay To Distribute Food In New Port Richey

The YMCA of the Suncoast is adding a food distribution site in west Pasco County in its latest partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The YMCA of the Suncoast is adding a food distribution site in west Pasco County in its latest partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay to serve needy communities.

The James P. Gills Family YMCA will host a weekly drive-through food pantry, providing prepackaged boxes of food to individuals and families.

Feeding Tampa Bay also uses the Clearwater YMCA and Greater Ridgecrest YMCA as distribution sites.

The distributions will take place every Monday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the James P. Gill Family YMCA, 8411 Photonics Drive, Trinity.

“We’re excited to continue working together with community partners like Feeding Tampa Bay to fight food insecurity in communities that need it the most," said Julio Vega, YMCA of the Suncoast District vice president. "Feeding hungry families is essential especially while local schools are closed during these unprecedented times."
