PASCO COUNTY, FL — A Zephyrhills man is dead after state police said he was struck by a car in Pasco County on Friday night. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on 5th Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. Police said a 21-year-old Zephyrhills woman was driving east on 5th Avenue west of 1st Street when the 75-year-old man darted across the roadway, entered the path of her vehicle and was struck. According to police, the man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. No additional information was immediately available.
