The following crimes were recently reported to Tampa Police. It is unclear if they are related:
- Auto burglary, Aug. 15: Someone entered three unlocked cars in the Easton Park subdivision. The streets where the cars were parked were Stillwind, Ancient Futures and Breaking Rocks. It is unclear what, if anything, was stolen.
- Auto burglary, Aug. 15: A purse was stolen from a Ford F-150 truck while the female driver went into Family of Christ Christian School to drop off her children. Two men in a gray Nissan were waiting in the parking lot and drove up to the vehicle after the mom exited it. The purse contained five credit cards, identification cards and a checkbook. The suspects were chased off by a witness and the Nissan was located by police. "There are good workable leads," according to the report.
