Driver Takes Off After Striking Motorcyclist Near Morris Bridge Road
BREAKING: The 46-year-old was thrown from his bike and is hospitalized in serious condition.

PASCO COUNTY, FL – A motorcyclist from Pasco County suffered serious injuries after a collision this morning with a hit-and-run driver, officials said.
The 46-year-old man from Wesley Chapel at approximately 6:45 a.m. was traveling south on Morris Bridge Road approaching Camerton Road when a white sedan, heading north approaching Camerton, attempted to improperly pass traffic in a no-passing zone while not seeing the motorcyclist, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The motorcycle was struck, went off the roadway and overturned, while the rider was ejected and sustained serious injuries, troopers said. He was transported to a hospital.

The sedan, possibly a Honda, meanwhile, never stopped and fled the accident scene, troopers said.
