‘Enormous Amount’ Stolen in T-Mobile Burglary

Wearing ski masks and gloves, two men broke into the 19024 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. T-Mobile store early Friday morning and walked out with a rather large stash.

Now, Tampa Police detectives are asking for residents’ help to identify the men in question. They’ve released surveillance video of the crime that shows the men in action as they cleaned out the store’s shelves.

The crime happened around 6:43 a.m. Aug. 23. Police say the men forced their way into the store, setting off the alarm in the process. Once inside, they “immediately walked over to a display counter and started shoving phones and cases into a bag,” an email to media from police spokeswoman Janelle McGregor said.

McGregor said the haul included an “enormous amount of merchandise.”
