Hillsborough Government Offices Open on Good Friday
It's business as usual March 29 for Hillsborough County government workers. Library patrons, however, will find the doors shut on Easter Sunday.
New Tampa residents hoping to get a little business done with a Hillsborough County agency on Good Friday are in luck.
The county has announced that it’s business as usual March 29 for most agencies. Garbage collection will also continue as normal. The county clerk’s office plans to stay open, but offices of the 13th Judicial Circuit will close.
Some Easter Sunday closings are planned. Animal Services, for example, will only be open from 1 to 5 p.m. for adoptions and lost pet searches. All public libraries will also close, but regional parks will remain open.
