More Apartments Coming to New Tampa
The Tampa City Council approved a rezoning that paves the way for the Gardens at Cross Creek to expand, the Tampa Tribune reports.

New Tampa residents who live along Cross Creek Boulevard and Morris Bridge Road will soon have some new neighbors.
The Tampa City Council gave a green light recently to a rezoning request that opens the door for the Gardens at Cross Greek to build another 60 apartments in its complex, according to The Tampa Tribune. The community features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes and is gated.
The property where the new apartments will be built sits on 7 acres of land that’s currently zoned for agricultural/single-family use. The land was recently annexed into the city.
